Now, we’re looking for an Inventory Analyst to join our team, with responsibility for developing insights, reporting, and process improvements that enhance inventory accuracy and operational efficiency. This role will play a key part in supporting decision-making and driving continuous improvement within the Inventory and Driver Check-In (DCI) functions, always keeping the customer at the heart of everything we do.
Key Accountabilities:
Reporting to the FP&A Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining KPIs and dashboards to monitor:
- Inventory accuracy
- Service levels
- Error rates
- Team productivity
- Generating regular and ad-hoc reports to support departmental decision-making
- Providing insights into team performance and operational trends
- Delivering training to the wider team to ensure:
- Process consistency across teams and sites
- Alignment with best practices
- Standardising and documenting inventory processes
- Collaborating with other departments to:
- Review performance data
- Identify root causes of issues
- Support corrective actions
- Leading and supporting continuous improvement initiatives
- Acting as a key contact for performance reviews and cross-functional discussions
- Driving improvements within the DCI team to enhance understanding of customer issues
- Identifying and implementing automation opportunities to streamline inventory-related processes
- Participating in ad hoc projects as required
- Other duties as assigned by the Senior Inventory Management Team
- Leading and supporting continuous improvement initiatives
- Acting as a key contact for performance reviews and cross-functional discussions
- Driving improvements within the DCI team to enhance understanding of customer issues
- Identifying and implementing automation opportunities to streamline inventory-related processes
- Participating in ad hoc projects as required
- Other duties as assigned by the Senior Inventory Management Team
Requirements:
- 3+ years’ experience in inventory analysis or related field
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with advanced Excel proficiency
- Experience with warehouse management systems and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present insights clearly
- Commercially minded and results-driven
- Ability to influence and collaborate across departments
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Self-starter with strong time management and organisational skills
- Knowledge of inventory control best practices and applicable industry regulations
