Merchandising Finance Analyst
We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Merchandising Finance Analyst a role within the Commercial Finance function of the business.
Reporting to the Merchandising Finance Manager, the purpose of this role is to provide critical commercial support to the Merchandising & Finance teams and broader business.

Key Accountabilities:
• Key support role to both Merchandising and Finance management, delivering value by optimising function performance through accurate analysis, which is data driven and practical
• Key partner in all Merchandising led projects and initiatives requiring financial expertise and support
• Develop and deploy advanced commercial/financial models, tools and processing across the function as the business defines
• Support transformation program metrics and tracking, including Sysco brand and PGM
• Pro-actively highlight opportunities for process improvements, looking for automated solutions to help find efficiencies, accuracy & insight
• Support the budget, forecasting and long-range planning processes as they relate to the function
• Building partnerships and maintaining strong relationships with all managers and their teams
• Support ad hoc projects and analytical requests as required.
Requirements:
• Third level degree in Finance, Financial Maths or a related discipline
• Minimum 3+ years of relevant multi-national experience in a fast-paced environment
• High competency in MS Excel and database systems
• High degree of comfort in working with large volumes of data, with excellent attention to detail
• Creative & innovative individual with a continuous improvement mind set
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Experience of Microsoft ERPs an advantage but not essential
• Good communicator with ability to develop & nurture relationships across the entire business.
• Resilient attitude and desire to see things through to completion
